Playing Up Your Strong Points
Kent R.
I recently concluded a project with a client, Aster, who came to Tandem with interest in moving into a specialized Financial Consultant position. Because she had her mind set on vying for a position overseas, she knew the competition would be stiff. She needed a resume/letter set that would establish her as a serious candidate.
On December 15th, I received an e-mail from Aster. She had an interview and it went better than expected. This is what she had to say: “He perceived me as someone who would play a lead consultant role rather than a specialized consultant role in finance; so the new resume erased the impression that I’m primarily a numbers person.” She plans to be working with them by February!
