A Sincere Thanks

It's times like this, when we're faced with things like another recession (did the last one really ever end) and the crisis in The Horn of Africa, it's important to hit the "pause" button for a second. It's important to stop for a moment to remember that life really is a mystery with no guarantees and that you really never know what might happen. There's a lot of suffering around the globe. Oftentimes – when I consider the fact that 1 in 6 world citizens are chronically hungry – I feel overwhelmingly fortunate to simply have food on the table.
If you’ve clicked around this website a bit, you know that Tandem is committed to giving back via our “Tandem Empowers” initiatives. We enjoy donating services to ambitious yet disadvantaged individuals who are struggling to find meaningful work, and we make donations to (and volunteer with) humanitarian organizations that believe in the potential of people.
As I always say, we're all connected as world citizens so we have to watch out for one another.
A sincere thanks to all of the clients who have enabled me to do the work that I love and, in doing so, empowered me to also pursue my passion for helping the world's most vulnerable people - from the out of work mother of two in Denver to the girl fighting to go to school in Zambia.
Many Thanks!
