Positivity – A Key Qualification
Kent R.
I am a moderator on a popular career management and resume feedback forum. As such, I field a lot of questions from people who are struggling to navigate the often confusing and overwhelming job search process. It is understandable then that many people are outwardly frustrated and that their frustration translates into negativity. I get it. Here is the thing though... The more positive and productive the question, the more engaged the audience on this forum is and the more eager I am to help. It is a natural instinct that exists in all facets of the job search process, from professional networking to interviewing. People will be more inclined to take an active role in your success if you approach each step of the process with positivity.
So this is a small reminder to do everything you can to remain positive. I understand why that can be a struggle, but I also see the overwhelming impact that positivity can have on a person’s success.
Feeling like you are fully prepared is one way to increase your positive outlook. If you don’t feel like you are maximizing your job search and presenting yourself in the best light possible, reach out.
